August Moon: Photo Shoot Inspiration

We are so excited about a shoot we creating for one of our LH Estates properties, August Moon. It hasn’t been shot yet; but, we thought we’d give you a sneak peek of the inspiration behind the shoot.

Succulents have been a huge trend in decor of the past couple years. They are unexpected and can be so beautiful (not to mention long-lasting). Florals are expected in table decor and if you’re looking for something in addition to succulents, herbs in various small vases are beautiful and also amazingly fragrant.

When combined with moss and other greenery, succulents make for unfussy decor. And using succulents doesn’t mean you can’t have beautiful colors. Succulents come in amazing colors.

Another staple? Candles. They add soft lighting, and combined with delicate floral, it creates such a romantic atmosphere.

We also love the unusual floral arrangement: just another example of how you shouldn’t be limited to traditional flowers for table decor.

We love this fall wreath: the dark colors keep it from looking like a Christmas decoration up too early and the mixed textures are so amazing.

The best part about this shoot though? It’s taking place at one of our LH Estate properties.
