Fall is here and we can feel it! From a floral perspective, we’re seeing the end of dahlia season (unless you’re lucky enough to live in Southern California); but,  we’re also starting to see amazing things like snow berries, rosehips, artichokes. Naturally, autumn florals are richly textured. Their shapes and forms reflect the tone of the season: they’re a little wilder and less full than summer’s explosion of color.

Everybody’s familiar with the deep oranges and reds of the leaf changes, but if you’re planning a fall wedding, why not change it up a little and use a different color palette? Dark purples, greens, and browns abound in the season and make a refreshing change from the warm oranges. Or why not bring the outdoors in with some amazing maple trees? There are countless ways to make an autumn wedding your own!

Stef and Matthew used red maple trees inside the barn at Durham Ranch.
