There’s no question about it: Montana is gorgeous.  So, when the folks at Paws Up Resort invited us to visit, well, we listened! It’s not called “Big Sky Country” for nothing: the beauty and the wildness is breathtaking.  You could see it while camping or hiking, but wouldn’t it be nicer to be in a luxury tent on a resort that offers incredible food (by the former chef from our favorite Blackberry Farm), guided activities, and a cattle drive (if you want it). We think so.

The Resort at Paws Up is the place to be.  Their glamping is the best of all worlds: you can have the seclusion and rustic feel of a tent, but all the amenities of a five star resort.  You can also reserve private camps or luxury homes. There’s no central lodge, which keeps it feeling private and like an authentic Montana experience. After a long day on a cattle drive, rapelling, white water rafting, fly fishing, or horseback riding (yes, these are all activities offered at the resort) you can also take advantage of the full service “spa town.” Perfection in our opinion.
