One of our go-to vendors for spectacular lighting is MZK Design.  They so some truly amazing and unexpected things with event lighting design (like turning this grove of trees into a full outdoor room) and now they’ve launched a furniture company, rEvolve. Each piece is handmade in one of their two studios (either in the Berkshires or Oakland) and the majority of the pieces are made with recycled or reclaimed materials.  While some of the pieces are for sale, most are intended for event rentals.  The uniqueness of the designs and the materials make this furniture singular in the rental market: gone are the boring cocktail tables covered in linens and the dark wooden bar, replaced by reclaimed wood tabletops and bars made from old railroad ties.  It’s a fresh approach and one that we wholeheartedly embrace.
