Once a year, executives from Pantone and representatives of other color standards companies from around the world meet in secret to discuss trends in color, fashion, and design, and to try to connect with the zeitgeist of the population to formulate their “Color of the Year.”  Last year was the difficult-to wear-but-lovely-to-decorate-with Tangerine Tango and 2013 marks the year of the infinitely more wearable Emerald.

The possibilities with this are endless: Sephora and Pantone have teamed up to release an entire line of Emerald cosmetics, the color is flattering to just about everyone in a bridal party, and touches of green in your table linens or decor choices could really make your wedding pop.  Green shoes with white dress, perhaps?  However you choose to use it, Emerald is a great choice.
