Half Moon Bay is exquisitely beautiful by anyone’s standards: high cliffs, dramatic views, knotty pines, and crashing waves make for a spectacular setting.  It’s proximity to San Francisco also made it perfect destination for Hong Kong based couple, Natalie David, who wanted a true destination wedding for their guests, but also felt it needed to be close to a very easily accessible airport and large city.

Natalie and David came to us and wanted a weekend that they their guests (most of whom were from Hong Kong and mainland China) could really engage with.  That meant organizing a scavenger hunt the day before the wedding, a rehearsal dinner overlooking the bay in San Francisco, and making sure everything at the Ritz-Carlton in Half Moon Bay was perfect on the day of the wedding for a Chinese and a Western wedding ceremony.

The day that unfolded was truly memorable; the team at Lily Lodge and MZK Design created an absolutely magical setting with the indoor garden decor and lighting.  The bride wore a series of gorgeous custom gowns and the groom looked impeccable all weekend.  The food was delicious, the guests were happy, and the bride and groom couldn’t have been more pleased.  Mike Falco of Christian Oth Studios captured it all to perfection (as usual!) and the resulting photographs really capture the essence of the day.

Congratulations again, Natalie and David!
