We, at LHE, love food. If we’re all together and we’re not talking about weddings, we’re probably talking about the last amazing meal we’ve eaten, or what restaurant we are going to try next! Or, if we’re with Lyndsey, coffee.

So, today I thought we’d share some of our local favorites. There was no real criteria for this list, I simply sent out an email to the LHE crew that said something like: “Hey, can you send me some ideas of your favorite restaurants?” and the list I got back from everyone was massive! There were so many suggestions that we’re going to focus on one city a week for the next month so we can get them all out in the world, because everyone needs to know about their deliciousness.

Oaxaca: Carrie loves this place so much that after talking about it this morning, she had to go there for lunch today! They have four NYC locations and their beef cheek taco is AMAZING.

The Fatty Crab: Southeast Asian cuisine is one of my personal favorites. Malaysian isn’t something you find on every corner, but the guys at the Fatty Crab should make it their mission in life to make it as ubiquitous as Thai: it’s certainly just as delicious. This place in particular takes the cake with their drool-worthy Malaysian inspired food.

Gotham Bar and Grill: fancy and a little on the pricey end, this classic NYC restaurant really delivers a delectable meal.

Macaron & Laduree: we love the macarons at Macaron (we really just love them in general. I will walk MILES for a good pistachio macaron) and you can’t talk about macarons without talking about Laduree. Go ahead and fight it out over which one is best and get back to me with a verdict!
