So, as the theme of the week at LHE seems to be all-things awesome, I thought I’d share my new fave product. This weekend, whilst perusing the LES, I walked into “In God We Trust” and became obsessed with the delish scent of the store. Pray tell? It was the intoxicatingly crisp perfumes by local Brooklynites, D.S. & Durga. By blending oils, resins, and plant extracts they create the loveliest of scents. Their goal is “influenced by the locality of their rare ingredients & strive to make original concoctions far from the mass-produced fragrances ubiquitous in modern times.” Achieved. My personal fave is “orris root”, which is actually for men, but smells delicious on women.
